What can I expect from an Anewu appointment?
At your initial evaluation, we will gather your history and begin an evaluation based on what you need. From there we will offer you hands-on care options, always offering you choices, sharing information, and providing exercises for you to do at home. Together, we’ll work out a plan of care that works best for you.
I’ve been to a pelvic floor PT before, how are you different?
We offer 55-minute treatment sessions and we focus on the entire body. Often our symptoms are interrelated and we are committed to working with the entire system to provide you with optimal care.
What Insurance Do you Accept?
We are an out-of-network office. We require payment in full at the time of your session. We can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance. If your carrier has any questions or needs additional information, we are happy to work with them.
How many sessions will I need?
We will determine this during your initial evaluation. We understand that everyone’s care needs, time availability, and financial situation is different so we will work with you to come up with a plan of care that best supports you.
Should I purchase a package?
Unless you are booking the Preventative Pregnancy package,we recommend you come for your initial evaluation and we can help you determine if a package is right for you.
How much does a session cost?
The Initial Evaluation is $185. One-time visits are $155, and our packages provide discounts from there. All of this information can also be found on our website at https://www.anewupt.com/pricing-and-packages so you can go back and take a look.
Can I bring my kids to my appointment?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your children. We have books and toys available in our waiting room and a couch with plenty of room for a stroller, car seat, or blanket for your child to play in the exam room.
What Payment Do You Accept?
We take cash, credit, debit, and qualify for any of the health cards such as HSA, FSA, etc.
How much advance notice do you need for cancellation due to inclement weather, sickness, etc.?
Cancellation fees are always waived when the cancellation is due to sickness or inclement weather. We ask that you try to give us as much advance notice as possible as we will try to fill your spot. And for inclement weather, we ask that you try to follow the public school system (if school is not closed for the weather, we ask that you do try to make your appointment and you are welcome to bring your children with you to your appointment if you feel comfortable traveling.
Do packages expire?
Packages expire 1 year after the date of purchase. We will send you a reminder email one month prior to your package expiration date.
Can I come into the office while I am on my period?
YES! We have a pad that we can put down to make sure it is comfortable for you. We can still perform the same examination and treatment while you are on your period. If you’d prefer to wait to perform the internal exam, we can do external treatment of your pelvic floor as well as progress your exercise routine and work through the rest of your body.
